Warehouse & Dispatch Activity

The scope of services covers Third Party Logistics / management support (3PL) of the following services for Distribution Centers.

Receipts

	Appointments (Advance Shipment Notice ASN) Preparation for incoming materials
	Physical unloading & preparation of Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
	Unpacking if necessary
	Store keeping Unit (SKU)-wise segregation
	Notify and report transit damages to Distribution Centre (DC) in-charge
	Check receipt documents for quantity & quality with regard to Purchase Order/Transfer order in the system
	Reporting of receipt discrepancies to DC in-charge if any
	Receipt Documentation: It involves GRN, vehicle incoming register, receipt register, other statutory documents
	Problem freight follow up & resolution
	Physical Put away
	Confirmation of Put away to the system through HHD or Manual

Put-away & Storage

	Move the SKUs to their respective storage locations
	Safe storage as per norm
	Ensuring no mismatch of SKUs during storage
	Update storage documentations if any

Inventory Control & Stock Verification

	Warehouse management (WM) Data Mapping
	MIS Reports
	Perpetual Inventory monitoring & Escalation of deficiencies
	Cycle Counting, Empty bin check and other controls
	To remain responsible for inventory in the DC / warehouse
	To undertake complete stock taking every month end
	Timely actions for stock / SKU mismatches if any
	Replenishments
	Initiation of Bin Transfers

Pick-list and Dispatch

	Delivery creation, pick generation, Handling Unit (HU) creation
	Obtain pick-lists as per demand / Dispatch plans
	Physical Picking
	Dock auditing
	HU article assignment
	Stores transfer Note (STN) Preparation
	Maintain 99% correctness in line picking
	Arrange destination-wise deliveries in the staging area
	Check SKU-wise quantity and specifications with regard to pick-list
	Prepare dispatch documentation and reports
	Loading of vehicles
	Co-operation with the transport team engaged by Principle Employer
